A Night in Morocco- Greer Garson Gala

For nearly two decades, Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation has hosted a signature fundraising event named after Greer Garson, the late Academy Award-winning actress and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas supporter. While glitz and glam have found a home at the annual Greer Garson Gala, it is the cause that really draws a crowd. Net proceeds from the Gala have benefited two important areas of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas: Parkinson's disease research and programs and women's and infant's services. More than $1 million has been raised for these programs. In 2008, the event netted more than $280,000, the largest amount to date. In 2009, event co-chairs Kara and Austin Adam and Jeannie and Nathan Denton aim to raise at least $250,000 for Parkinson's research and programs and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Texas Health Dallas. The generous spirit of our underwriters, silent and live auction donors, and ticket patrons helps turn dreams into reality for the programs supported by the Greer Garson Gala. (Texas Health Resources)

A Night in Morocco was the 2009 theme for the Greer Garson Gala benefiting Parkinson's research and programs and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Texas Health Dallas. A big thank you to Katherine Mathes and her team at Three Sixty Events, Inc. for their incredible coordination and planning for this impressive and touching event. The LITE Dallas Team was honored to be a part of the evening and the celebrations, including a silent auction, dinner, live auction, testimonies from patients and professionals. The floral for the evening was provided by Junior at Garden Gate, and photography for the evening was by Kristina Bowman. The Hilton Anatole catered the entire event and Encore Center Stage provided the entertainment for the evening. Modern Luxury provided the media coverage for the event and we want to thank Texas Health Resources and Presbyterian Hospital for their initiative and allowing LITE Dallas to be a part of this celebration.
